  Yes, they are limited by memory and speed of computation.

  There is a at least one limit on computer power – energy. We are having to be increasingly wary about the impact that the energy demands (i.e. electricity to power and cool CPUs) of large scale computation required to to train complex AI applications is having on the climate.
