I don’t know if you’re being watched by the government, but you’re definitely being watched by a lot of companies whenever you’re online… see for example https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2012/apr/23/cookies-and-web-tracking-intro

Well, I think even if the Government wants to, they might not be able to watch everyone for every second…. It’s a very challenging task…

As Yee Whye said, lots of companies collect your data, basically all the time. Sometimes they use this data for helpful purposes, but other times not so much. This is where lots of the data comes from to train AI algorithms. Do you think this is a good thing?

I guess some people know but some don’t 🙂 Do you think being watched by government is worse than being watched by companies? What if the companies sell your data (and how to influence you) to governments (British or foreign)?
