0 Question: do you think quantum computers are achievable Keywords: achieve, computer, quantum Asked by shohail to Yee Whye, Valerie, Nick, Mackenzie, Lin, Jun, Jacob, Brian, Anna on 14 Nov 2019.
Valerie Bradley answered on 14 Nov 2019:
Yes, and I think we’re on our way there! Just last month, Google was able to experimentally demonstrate quantum supremacy (https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-03213-z), which is a big step in that direction!
Brian Zhang answered on 14 Nov 2019:
yes, i think so, but right now the quantum computers are still very small in the number of bits (qubits) they can store, which limits their power
Why do you like to use computers a lot?
Do you think that computers are smart? Or do you think it is humans who are the smart ones?
What does 'quantum' mean?? I've seen it used all the time in articles, movies, ect. but I still don't know!
