I chose this job because I had so many questions from my previous job and not enough time to answer all of them! I also felt like I wasn’t done learning, and I wanted the time and space and resources to just explore areas of statistics that I didn’t know about! Fortunately, this is exactly what I’ve gotten to do at my job 🙂

One of the most challenging things about ethics and philosophy is that there is not always a clear right or wrong answer. In math or science, we are interested in facts, but in ethics, we are interested in arguments. We want to convince people of things. Imagine getting paid to think about things that you find interesting, and then argue about it! That’s why I chose the job I have.
