As a PhD student, I don’t really have a salary, but instead have a scholarship / stipend for living expenses. It’s not a lot, but enough to live on in Oxford!

Anna explains it very well, but I still want to make a complaint – it’s really basic…. So I would believe people are not doing research for money. If you do, then you might be very sad soon….
