  This kind of scenario is hard to imagine, because we literally need food to survive. We use computers a lot right now, but there are people in the world that don’t and they get along just fine. But I think you’re right that the more we use computers, and later AI, the more we will come to depend on them. If the internet went away tomorrow, our society would cease to function as we know it, and I could see the same for AI in the future.
