I think the best way to figure out what you really like is to try lots of different things/subjects. I had not taken philosophy until university, but I thought the ‘big questions’ it asked were really interesting. And I got into studying brains and AI just because that was what was going on around me. So I think its good to say ‘yes’ to new opportunities when they come along.
