This is a hard one, there are so many people I admire! But right now, one of my favorites is Katie Bouman, who led the development of an algorithm that was a crucial part of taking the first ever picture of a black hole (https://www.theguardian.com/science/2019/apr/11/katie-bouman-black-hole-photo)! And she did that as a PhD student in her 20’s! She’s one of my favorites because she reminds me that you don’t have to be completely established in your career to make big, important contributions to your field.
