I took a class my last year of high school that was a combination of art, history, literature and music – we studied major periods in world history through each of those 4 lenses simultaneously, and I loved the interdisciplinary approach. It was really cool to learn about the historical events that led to the creation of famous works of art and how similar ideas or movements were reflected in art, music and in literature. I’d always preferred maths and sciences to the humanities, but after that class I almost decided to study art history at uni!
