  This is a question that’s wayyyy out of my area of knowledge (aerospace engineering)! Perhaps a botanist would be the best person to ask?
  In research, it’s ok to say “I don’t know that answer to that” rather than making something up that could be misleading. It could inspire someone else to go and research the right answer, or talk to someone who is an expert in that area.
