Hi Bethaannyy,
This is a very difficult question to answer. Some people with brain injuries seem absolutely fine although have got very difficult problems affecting their day-to-day life significantly. On the other hand, you come across people who look like they are struggling, although as they have accepted their state they have adapted and are absolutely fine.
Personally, I do think that where there are communicative problems, this has a very big impact on day-to-day life. But I guess it’s personal at the end of the day, so I cannot give a very clear answer to this question. sorry!
